The block is residential—yards, single‑family houses and newer subdivisions—within a short drive of neighborhood schools, local parks and the Shadow Hills / Chaparral Ridge golf areas to the west/northwest. Everyday shopping and chain dining are found along nearby arterials and at larger centers on Loop 289 and Quaker Avenue. The overall vibe is quiet, family‑oriented with easy suburban conveniences.

Driving is the easiest and fastest way to get around; the property sits close to Loop 289 and other major arterials for citywide access. Citibus (Lubbock’s public bus) operates fixed routes and an on‑demand microtransit service that covers many parts of the city—service frequency is moderate and evening/weekend schedules are limited. Texas Tech campus has dedicated Citibus connections; students ride some routes free via campus fees. Rideshare and taxis operate in Lubbock. There is no Amtrak station in Lubbock; intercity bus service (Greyhound/others) runs from downtown Lubbock
